Auto Accident Injury Treatment in New Port Richey & Trinity FL

Auto injuries are real and can be a source of chronic symptoms. Even small 'fender bender' type car crashes where there are no visible signs of damage to the vehicle can generate enough "g-force" to damage the delicate anatomical structures of the spine. If you or someone you know was involved in an automobile crash/injury, they should seek an evaluation from a trained doctor. In many cases, problems associated with injuries may be 'dormant' for weeks at a time until they manifest, especially in these low speed car collisions. Treatment for injuries is covered by your automobile insurance regardless of which party is at fault for the car crash.

We've put together a video that describes the unique nature of auto injuries and explains how they occur and how chiropractic can help.

Above, Dr. Ferrantelli inspects damage resulting from a collision which was staged by the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. During this continuing education seminar series, chiropractors, medical doctors and attorneys are trained in the basics of accident crash reconstruction, learning details of injury mechanisms so that they can better care for injured patients within their practices.

Above, Dr. Ferrantelli (foreground) performs x-ray digitizing on patient x-rays who were involved in motor vehicle crashes. This ground breaking car crash research was performed with noted researchers Don Harrison, DC, PhD, MSE (above left), and Tad Janik, PhD (above -seated). In this study, there were 40 cases of patients with pre-lateral cervical radiographs, who subsequently got into car accidents and had post-injury lateral cervical radiographs taken. The data will show what happens to sagittal cervical alignment after automobile accidents. For the first time ever, exact measurements of displacement angles and distances for segmental and global angles and translations will be documented for whiplash and side impact accidents. This research is being finalized for submissison to a top indexed journal.

Dr. Joe Ferrantelli has even published a case on pain arising from a 'chronic whiplash injury' This can be found on the Index Medicus Pub Med.
